Skin Success? Check

Hola!

Today on the agenda, we have a review of the Palmer's Skin Success Eventone Toner. I loved it so so much that I decided to review it all on its own!

I've not heard or seen any reviews about this from any of the blogs/bloggers/youtubers that I follow. So without further ado...

The bottle says it is for all skin types, contains beta hydroxy and tea tree oil and removes dead skin cells and leaves skin balanced.
Beta hydroxy is an acid, also commonly known as salicylic acid - great for acne treatments/products. And tea tree oil is a natural oil which is anti-bacterial and has a multitude of great uses one of them being that it is also great for acne and acne products.

It's not a gentle toner - so if you only use something like bioderma and you like that then this is definitely not for you. Then saying that, it's not super strong it doesn't sting and leave your face sore, thank goodness. Since it is a chemical exfoliant I can feel it working once as I pass my cotton pad over my face - if you have any slightly dry-ish or broken patches of skin it can sting a tiny bit, courtesy of the tea tree oil - but it does get rid of the dry skin really well. Also it feels like your face is really clean and it really is quite refreshing! - The toner has quite a light smell and definitely has a hint of that tea tree oil smell but isn't too overpowering at all.

Since I suffer from hyper-pigmentation it is essential to exfoliate and generate new skin cells in order for scars to fade, I really notice that the scars fade a lot more quickly since using this product than if I was using something else. Bearing in mind that acne scarring and hyper-pigmentation take quite a long time to fade so for me instead of the scars mostly fading in a month I can see a notable fade in 2 weeks for example.

All in all it cleans really well without leaving your face feeling stripped - I would agree it is great for all skin types except maybe the extremes - I have normal/dry skin. It is lovely to follow up with something like Caudalie Beauty Elixir, Hydraluron or going straight into your moisturizer.

Cannot recommend it enough - I will continue to repurchase!!

I got mine from amazon here.. and it's pretty inexpensive at £3.49.

Have you tried this before? Do you have any toners you really love? Comment below!
