Bioderma: Sensibio vs Sebium

Hola!

Bioderma has been raved about so much and there are a couple of different versions, so I thought I'd try a couple and see what the differences are and which I prefer.

I tried (and am still using) the Sensibio H20 and the Sebium H20 versions of the Bioderma Solution Micellaire...

Review: La Roche-Posay Anthelios XL Extreme Face Fluid SPF 50+

With all the heat and sun we have going on at the moment, sun screen on the face is a must! I haven't heard much about this product yet and I just bought this product (another haul coming soon...) and I believe it is quite new, so I thought I'd do a quick review on it.

It has quite a thin consistency, which is nice for a sunscreen, as I hate the thick oily ones that feel like they will never sink in...

A Discovery (or Two)

So I feel pretty bad for not posting last week... but there was just no way it was going to happen. I've been working a lot, so have just not had time to write posts to a standard that I felt happy with. So, I hope you'll forgive me, because I will make it up to you (promise!) with a few extra posts here and there, and for sure this week, I will be back on schedule. Pinky swear.

I bought the Clinique Supermoisture Make-Up during the winter and thought it would be perfect for me as it is targeted at dry skin types.

Sunday Funday & Wishlist

So usually on Sundays I like to post about the links I've been loving for the week, etc however this week I've spent a lot of time studying for my driving theory test, which is tomorrow (yes, I'm 20 and can't drive.. scandalous).  

Today, we went to see the Serpentine Pavilion, designed by Sou Fujimoto in Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. I thought it was really amazing! It looked kind of like a white cloud, which when you got closer looked like a big climbing frame! Take a look at some of the photos I took below:

The Power of Chocolate: A Tasty Treat

The first food post... Exciting times! I made this cake for one of my housemate's birthdays just at the end of term. She really likes chocolate and that was the only criteria she required for the cake. Despite the sponge element of the cake not being chocolate, we found that you really don't miss it as the creamy, rich, super-chocolatey texture of the sour cream icing is more than enough chocolate for the tastebuds.

Review: Clinique Lash Power Mascara

I thought I would review this Clinique mascara. I've not read many reviews about it on the internet, but thought it definitely deserved a mention. I actually intended on purchasing the bottom lash mascara, but it happened to be out of stock. The lady at the counter assured me that this was just - if not more - smudge proof than the bottom lash one, with a small enough brush for precision on the bottom lashes and still large enough to use on the top lashes too.

Generally, I hate small brushes and I always go for the massive ones (think Benefit BadGal Lash mascara)...

How To: Heal a Sunburn

Hate sunburn? Yep, me too... 
Today, I thought I would write a post about Sunburn.. possibly the most annoying thing about summer. Especially since, I was fortunate enough to get a nice and painful sunburn yesterday (I live in the UK... what is this?!). So, I have been looking up lots of remedies and ways of recuperating and recovering my skin.
